Ilya Yakovlev created this ill design for a time piece using Swarovsky crystals. The Zima is inspired by the Signity watch series. It has a few controls on the backside of the band that allow you to increase the luminosity or change the display colors to fit your mood or match your kicks. Xtra Fresh.

Rock Lobster

Designer: Danilo Mangini calls this the lobster... based on it looking like a lobster tail. We don't see it, but we do love it. This little beauty is made up of 5 parts (mp3 player, gps, hard drive, camera and cardiometer) that link together like BRIX and go with you anywhere. Yeah, it does make your shuffle look like an 8 track. Only thing it's missing is a phone.

Digital BRIX

As in Bricks.
BRIX is a phone. Its entirely touchscreen- no buttons, no knobs, no switches.
BRIX has all the bells and whistles- video, sms, web, bluetooth, blah blah blah.
BRIX was designed by Seokwon Hong.

But BRIX are collaborative, you know, in the way the Zune tries to be. Stick 2 BRIX together and a shared folder is created so you can give your homie some clips and pics. The viewscreen then also expands to cover both BRIX so video and games are bigger. Imagine what you could do if 5 or 6 of your friends brought theirs over to watch the game:

That's sharing the way it should be. Quite simple really. Digital Lego's.

Designer Nuno Teixeira gave us something to really think about this design for an iMac. It uses a curved screen like old movie theaters, on the front and on the back as well as dual webcam's. It would also take advantage of the new Apple innovations in interface design that make the iPhone and Touch so fun and easy to use.

File this under 'Yes please'.
